Job summary

AXA Insurance UK is seeking a Head of Technology and Resilience Risk to lead the organisation’s approach to technology risk, resilience and business continuity. You will report to the Director of Risk, Governance and Conduct and sit on senior risk leadership teams, shaping risk frameworks, culture, and decision-making to enable safe, sustainable innovation.

• Extensive proven track record championing customer-centric outcomes across technology and resilience.
• Experience managing risk in large-scale financial services providers.
• Up-to-date UK regulatory knowledge for insurance and financial services.
• Strong ability to engage stakeholders and lead high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology and Operational Resilience Strategy with clear dependencies and recovery protocols.
• Manage Technology Risk and Modernisation to simplify and improve the estate.
• Oversee Change and Transformation Risk with governance standards and impact assessments.
• Information Security and Data Governance, GDPR compliance, data risk management.
• Third-Party and Supply Chain Resilience with vendor risk strategies.
• Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis with lessons learned for improvement.
• Risk Reporting and Insights to senior management using relevant metrics and tools.
• Build Risk Maturity and Culture across AXA Insurance COO through governance best practices.
