Job summary

AXA UK is seeking a Head of Technology and Resilience Risk to lead technology risk, operational resilience and governance across the organisation. You will work with the COO and ExCom, shaping risk frameworks, incident response and third-party oversight while enabling safe innovation.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on risk management in a large financial services environment, requiring UK regulatory knowledge, strong communication, and a customer-centric risk culture.

Qualifications

• Extensive technology risk and resilience expertise across large financial services.
• Regulatory knowledge for UK insurance/financial services.
• Advanced risk assessment and assurance skills for KRIs and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technology and Operational Resilience strategy and risk management.
• Oversee change and transformation risk and governance.
• Maintain information security and data governance oversight.
• Manage third-party and supply chain resilience and vendor risks.
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis and lessons learned.
• Provide data-driven risk reporting to ExCom and governance forums.
