Job summary

AXA Insurance UK is seeking a Head of Technology and Resilience Risk to lead the technology and operational resilience agenda across the organisation. You will shape risk frameworks, champion customer-centric approaches, and collaborate across the three lines of defence to balance innovation with risk management.

The role reports to the Director of Risk, Governance and Conduct and sits on the senior leadership team, driving risk insight, incident response, change management and third-party

Qualifications

• Technology risk and resilience expertise.
• Experience in large financial services environments.
• Up-to-date UK regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology and operational resilience strategy aligned with IBS standards.
• Identify technology risks and modernise the estate for efficiency.
• Oversee change risk and assess transformation initiatives.
• Manage information security, data governance and GDPR compliance.
• Oversee third-party and supply chain resilience and vendor risk.
• Lead incident management and root-cause analysis for serious events.
• Provide data-driven risk reporting to senior management and governance forums.
• Embed risk culture and governance best practices across the organisation.
