Job summary

Sycamore Lighting is seeking a diligent Customer & Technical Support Administrator to assist in customer service, quotations, and quality compliance. The role focuses on responding to customer inquiries, preparing quotes, and supporting account and delivery coordination.

Strong admin skills and basic technical knowledge are essential to excel in a busy lighting manufacture environment. You will manage technical enquiries, maintain records, and liaise with suppliers for compliance documentation,

Qualifications

• Customer service, technical support or administration experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer technical enquiries via telephone and email.
• Manage the technical support inbox.
• Provide basic technical advice and product guidance.
• Maintain records of customer enquiries and resolutions.
• Prepare customer quotations accurately and promptly.
• Support project quotations and contract enquiries.
• Coordinate delivery requirements with the Operations team.
• Support key account customers with day-to-day enquiries.
• Monitor forecasts and delivery schedules.
• Review shortages, service issues and credit requests.
• Help maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain technical files, certificates and product records.
• Assist with declarations of conformity and test reports.
• Support WEEE and packaging compliance submissions.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain compliance documentation.
• Assist with product testing and ageing programmes.
• Maintain quality records and testing documentation.
• Support investigations into product issues and complaints.
