Job summary

TXM Recruit is seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant in the United Kingdom to bridge engineering, product development and sales. You will lead pre-sales activities, deliver technical presentations and PoC projects while collaborating with marketing and product teams to tailor customer solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on engineering tech experience and sector knowledge across Rail, Industrial, Aviation, Aerospace or Defence, with strong communication and travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales, solutions consulting or consultative selling.
• Hands-on technical experience with engineering technologies.
• Experience in Rail/Industrial/Aviation/Aerospace/Defence beneficial.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to travel internationally and within the UK up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales initiatives across multiple industries with engaging sales presentations and technical support.
• Develop understanding of customers' businesses and technical requirements to provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical workshops and PoC projects; present findings clearly.
• Collaborate with marketing to produce proposals and sales materials aligned with customer requirements.
• Work with sales and product development to ensure smooth transition from engagement to delivery.
• Coordinate with R&D, delivery and customer service teams to support project implementation.
• Provide customer and market feedback to product development to shape roadmaps.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and key internal stakeholders.
