Job summary

HP in the United Kingdom seeks a Technical Consultant to engage with customers, understand business needs, and design tailored IT solutions. You will present these solutions as a trusted advisor, support the sales team in pre‑sales activities, and ensure successful adoption and integration of HP solutions.

You will lead demonstrations, conduct PoCs, and develop technical documentation while educating clients on technical aspects.

Qualifications

Experience in technical solution development and pre‑sales support.
Experience in IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Strong awareness of market trends and ability to translate insights into business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand business requirements and design tailored IT solutions.
Lead product demonstrations, answer client questions, and highlight key features.
Conduct technical evaluations, validate feasibility, identify risks, and propose mitigations.
Develop technical documentation, specifications, and pricing models for proposals.
Educate clients on technical aspects and integration with existing infrastructure.
Conduct PoCs or pilots to demonstrate value in real environments.
Build strong relationships with prospective clients and technical decision‑makers.
Provide training and support to the sales team on technical aspects of products.
