Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Limited is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join a UK-based technology business operating in regulated environments. This remote role with travel combines military-to-technical transitions with customer-facing responsibilities.

You will bridge customers, sales and engineering teams and translate complex operational challenges into practical technical solutions for key stakeholders across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience translating operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Background in cyber security, networks or cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business, operational and technical requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and workshops.
• Support the sales team during customer meetings and strategic opportunities.
• Design high-level technical solutions and architectures.
• Support Proofs of Concepts and technical trials.
• Contribute to RFI and RFP responses and technical proposals.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to develop appropriate solutions.
• Build long-term relationships with end users, major contractors and key industry stakeholders.
• Provide market and competitor intelligence back into the business.
• Support the transition from winning an opportunity through to implementation.
