BDM – New Business Hunter

Purpose
Working as a new business sales hunter to lead and win new bids and tenders.
Responsibilities
- Find opportunities with new 'channel' clients.
- Write and present compelling bid responses that 'sell' the solution and our business capability to the client.
- Close new business deals as part of a target bearing role.
- Take sales opportunities through the stages on SalesForce from initial prospect to business start.
- Prospect and create a pipeline of opportunities (individual opportunity value typically between £100k to £2m).
- Target £2m of invoiced in-year revenue and achieve set revenue and margin targets each quarter.
- Negotiate contracts with external clients and internal stakeholders to conclusion within the deadline for contract start.
- Deliver compelling proposals in PowerPoint and written responses to RFI & RFP, showcasing our capability to meet client needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years sales experience; field & site-based engineers and workshop repair experience.
- Sold engineer-based services such as brake fix, deployment, repair, upgrades, and projects for client devices and EPOS hardware.
- Experience selling channel services to OEMs, outsourcers and service integrators.
- Demonstrable experience selling IT services that TVS SCS specialize in.
