BYD Europe is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to translate complex automotive technology into customer-focused solutions. You will bridge customers and internal engineers, delivering demonstrations and ensuring proposals meet requirements.

The role requires strong communication, stakeholder management and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Travel across the UK and a driving licence are desirable for on-site support and demos.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in technical sales, engineering support or a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience within the automotive/engineering/manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Strong communication and ability to explain technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and guidance.
• Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Act as the key technical contact for customers throughout the sales process.
• Prepare technical documentation, proposals and product information.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with professional advice.
• Stay up to date with product developments and industry trends.
• Support customer enquiries and ensure a seamless customer experience.
