Job summary

BYD Europe is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist based in our Fully Office-based location in Hounslow, London. You will translate complex technical features into customer-focused solutions and serve as the liaison between customers and internal technical teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in technical sales or a customer-facing role, with experience in the commercial vehicle sector being highly desirable. A full UK driving licence is desirable for UK-wide travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in technical sales, engineering support or a customer-facing technical role.
• Experience within the commercial vehicle industry, particularly buses and coaches, is highly desirable.
• Experience within the automotive, engineering or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to explain complex technical information clearly.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase product features and benefits.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support and guidance to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales and Technical teams to ensure technical solutions meet customer requirements.
• Act as the key technical contact for customers throughout the sales process.
