Job summary

Get Recruited is seeking a Technical Sales Manager / Business Development Manager to own the full sales process for engineered material handling solutions. You will identify new business, visit sites, and convert technical enquiries into profitable orders.

You’ll work with in-house design/estimating teams to tailor solutions and quotes, nurturing key accounts and building a robust sales pipeline for repeat business.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B technical or industrial sales.
• Experience across the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Experience in material handling, industrial equipment or engineering.
• Comfortable speaking with engineers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
• Able to collaborate with design and estimating teams to shape solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business with manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Visit customer sites to understand storage, transport and handling needs.
• Develop existing accounts and reconnect with dormant customers.
• Work with Design and Estimating to develop the right solution and quotation.
• Follow up proposals, negotiate terms and move opportunities to order.
• Build an accurate pipeline and strong, long-term customer relationships.
