Job summary

Get Recruited (UK) Ltd is working with an established Staffordshire manufacturer of stillages, cages and engineered material handling systems to recruit a Technical Sales Manager. This hands-on role owns the full sales process, from identifying new business to closing profitable orders.

You will visit customer sites, work with design and estimating teams, build a strong pipeline and develop existing accounts, while communicating with engineers and procurement to win deals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in B2B technical or industrial sales.
• Experience across full sales process from prospecting to closing.
• Experience in material handling, industrial equipment or engineering.
• Comfortable speaking with engineers, procurement and senior decision-makers.
• Ability to create opportunities and develop repeat business.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business with manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Visit customer sites to understand storage, transport and handling requirements.
• Develop existing accounts and reconnect with dormant customers.
• Work with Design and Estimating to develop the right solution and quotation.
• Follow up proposals, negotiate terms and move opportunities through to order.
• Build an accurate pipeline and strong, long-term customer relationships.
