Job summary

GetRecruited UK Ltd has partnered with a UK manufacturer to recruit a Technical Sales Manager for Staffordshire/Midlands.

You will own the full sales process, visit customer sites, qualify needs, work with design and estimating, and convert technical enquiries into profitable orders.

This hands-on field sales role requires a proven B2B track record in industrial sales and the ability to build long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Has a proven track record in B2B technical or industrial sales.
• Experience selling to engineers, procurement teams and senior decision-makers.
• Comfortable visiting customer sites and presenting engineered solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business with manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Visit customer sites to understand storage, transport and handling requirements.
• Develop existing accounts and reconnect with dormant customers.
• Work with Design and Estimating to develop the right solution and quotation.
• Follow up proposals, negotiate terms and move opportunities through to order.
• Build an accurate pipeline and strong, long-term customer relationships.
