Job description
Technical Sales Engineer (M/F)
You will play a key role in matching our cutting‑edge propulsion technologies to our clients’ needs in the satellite sector.

Founded in 2017, ThrustMe is a pioneering space technology company specializing in advanced propulsion systems for small satellites. We are global experts in satellite propulsion, pushing the boundaries of streamlined in‑orbit mobility for the rapidly expanding satellite constellation industry. Our clients across the US, Europe, and Asia trust us to design and deliver high‑performance, precision‑engineered propulsion systems that push technological boundaries while meeting demanding timelines and budgets. We made history in 2019 and 2020 with the world’s first in‑orbit demonstrations of iodine‑fueled electric propulsion systems. Today, we are experiencing rapid growth, with over 300 systems ordered to date.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in matching our cutting‑edge propulsion technologies to our clients’ needs in the satellite sector. You will be responsible for convincing satellite manufacturers and operators, demonstrating the value and benefits of our propulsion systems by leveraging your technical & commercial expertise. This role requires a dynamic individual who can effectively communicate complex technical concepts in a compelling manner, understand client challenges, and deliver solutions that create value for the client.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑growing company at the forefront of space technology and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our existing & potential client portfolio, understanding their missions and how ThrustMe products can match their needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support on ThrustMe products throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to post‑sale support.
  • Write technical proposals, reports and documents for existing & potential clients or commercial purposes.
  • Develop expertise in industry trends, competitive landscape, and advancements in satellite and space technology to effectively communicate our value proposition to clients.
  • Actively participate in prospecting actions through international trade shows, industry events, and client visits.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a similar technical discipline is required.
  • First work experience in a similar role (including apprenticeship and internship).
  • Demonstrated experience in technical sales, business development, or customer‑facing roles within the space, aerospace, or a high‑tech industry.
  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into customer‑centric solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in written and spoken English and French.
  • Strong organization and time‑management skills.

The successful candidate should be a self‑starter with a passion for space technologies and the commercial space industry. Experience in technical sales, satellite systems, or the procurement and application of propulsion systems is a plus. We value a proactive mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
