A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Manager to create hands-on product content for a developer infrastructure company. The role focuses on simplifying complex SDKs through tutorials, demos, and videos. This position offers a remote-first work environment with a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $170,000, along with equity and flexible hours.
Consortia is partnering with a cutting edge developer infrastructure company to hire a Technical Product Marketing Manager whose core focus will be creating hands‑on, developer‑facing product content.
This role is about helping engineers understand how to use a highly technical SDK and platform. You’ll spend your time turning complex capabilities into concrete demos, walkthroughs, tutorials, and short videos that show developers exactly what they can build and how to get started.
You’ll work day‑to‑day with engineering and DevRel to shape demos, sample apps, and “Hello World” flows, then package them into content that reduces time‑to‑first‑value for busy developers.
If you enjoy being close to the product, inside the tools, and shipping content that real builders rely on, this is very much that type of role.
With a lean, highly technical team anchored in Zurich and strong funding in place, the company is preparing for a broader public launch and needs someone who can own this developer product content stream as an individual contributor.
Create clear, concise product content that explains how the SDK works and what developers can build with it – from quickstart guides and feature explainers to short tutorials and “how we built this” breakdowns.
Design and deliver stable, repeatable product demos that showcase real use cases, including demo scripts, screen‑recorded walkthroughs, and functional examples developers can follow.
Produce short video walkthroughs and explainer content, either directly or by working with specialist contractors, to show developers how to get from “zero” to “first success”.
Work closely with Engineering and DevRel to shape sample apps, code snippets, Postman collections, and “Hello World” flows that reduce time‑to‑first‑value.
Translate feature releases into developer‑friendly content: release notes, change summaries, small demo clips, and practical usage guides.
Support updates to developer‑facing areas of the website (SDK sections, product pages, use‑case content) with accurate, grounded copy.
Experience in technical product marketing, developer marketing, DevRel (content‑focused) or developer education for APIs, SDKs, platforms, or developer tools.
A track record of producing developer‑facing content such as tutorials, demo videos, SDK guides, product walkthroughs, or sample applications.
Comfort working with developer tooling and workflows – reading simple code examples, using GitHub, running basic commands, working with JSON/YAML, and using tools like Postman or cURL.
Strong written communication: structured, precise, and technically accurate without being dry.
Confidence working day‑to‑day with engineers and technical stakeholders in a lean, fast‑moving environment.
A portfolio or set of examples (articles, videos, demos, tutorials, repos, or similar) that shows how you explain technical products to developers.
Experience editing or producing technical video content (Screenflow, Loom, Camtasia, etc.).
Previous experience in a startup or scale‑up where you operated as an individual contributor rather than managing a team.
Developer‑first impact – your work will directly influence how quickly and confidently developers understand and adopt a new execution platform.
Deeply technical environment – collaborate with a highly capable engineering and research team working on non‑trivial problems in distributed systems and applied cryptography.
Hands‑on ownership – this is not a strategy‑only PMM role; you’ll be creating tangible content, demos, and videos that ship and get used.
Compensation – base salary circa $120,000–$170,000 (depending on experience), plus equity and a token component.
Remote‑first culture – Europe‑based candidates are preferred, but exceptional candidates on the US East Coast will also be considered, with flexible travel for in‑person sessions.
You don’t need to come from a pure crypto or Web3 background – what matters is your ability to understand technical products and show developers, clearly and practically, how to use them.
