Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with our client to recruit a Technical Fire SafetyManager (FE, MIFireE). This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fire safety professional to play a key role within a progressive and safety-focused organisation.

As Technical Fire Safety Manager, you will work as part of the wider Health & Safety Team, leading the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of fire and building safety strategies across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive fire and building safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Act as the organisation s subject matter expert on fire and building safety legislation, providing authoritative guidance to senior management and colleagues.
• Ensure full compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, including the Fire (Scotland) Act, Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations, Building (Scotland) Act, and Building (Scotland) Regulations.
• Oversee the management of fire safety systems, audits, and risk assessments to promote a robust culture of safety and compliance.
• Provide technical advice and support on fire engineering solutions, fire risk management, and building safety design considerations.
• Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, contractors, and emergency services.

• Demonstrable experience in managing fire and building safety across complex or multi-occupancy buildings.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and standards, including Non-Domestic Technical Standards, British Standards, Building Safety Standards, and Fire Safety Standards.
