Job summary

Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead a specialist team supporting Welfare, Revenues and Benefits systems. You will provide technical leadership, ensure secure, resilient operations and manage controlled system changes with suppliers and colleagues.

You will balance complex governance, risk and customer impact, identify improvements for service resilience and efficiency, and contribute to planning and assurance for statutory services.

Qualifications

• Lead, support and develop colleagues in the Welfare, Revenues and Benefits Technical Delivery team, creating an inclusive environment.
• Provide senior technical advice on system configuration, testing, release management, access control and data quality.
• Collaborate with service managers, IT&D, suppliers and project colleagues to deliver controlled system changes.

• Ensure availability, resilience, security and performance of business-critical systems.
• Help govern system changes and work with suppliers and internal teams.
