Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking a Programme Manager for Devolution to lead the planning, governance, and coordination of the council’s devolution programme from its base in Hove. You will work across directorates and with the Sussex and Brighton Strategic Authority to ensure delivery and strategic alignment.

The role requires strong programme leadership, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement skills to translate complex policy into clear plans and meaningful outcomes.

• Experience leading complex programmes in local government.
• Ability translate policy into practical plans and deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and governance skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the planning, governance and coordination of the council's devolution programme.
• Define and plan programme sequencing to align with SBSA Devolution Delivery Programme.
• Produce concise, professional cabinet reports and briefings for councillors and senior teams.
• Conduct high-quality research and analysis from diverse sources.
• Advise leadership on implications of devolution to enable high-quality services.
