Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking a Programme Manager for Devolution to lead planning and delivery of the devolution programme across directorates and partner authorities. You will ensure strong governance, coordinate interdependent workstreams and provide robust analysis and strategic advice to senior officers and elected members.

• Lead the planning, design and implementation of the council’s devolution programme, ensuring effective coordination of the programme and its interdependencies.
• Define and plan programme and project sequencing to ensure successful delivery of the council’s objectives, in line with the SBSA Devolution Delivery Programme.
• Produce concise, professional reports, cabinet updates and briefings suitable for councillors and senior teams.
• Conduct high-quality research and analysis, synthesising evidence from academic, governmental, and local sources.
• Advise Directorate Leadership Teams and managers on the implications of devolution to keep services aligned during change.
