Job summary

Red Door Recruitment is looking for a passionate Technical Customer Service Administrator to join our client's established company on the outskirts of St Albans. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave and offers a salary of £27k with office-based hours.

You will provide end-to-end post-installation support across a full product portfolio, coordinating technical guidance, engineering activity, spare parts and consumables to deliver a consistent experience for B2C and B2B

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service and/or administration experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Numerate.
• Drives for results and positive outcome.
• Pays close attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Proactive, with ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Previous experience using SAP is desirable.
• Customer First Attitude.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and service enquiries across the full company portfolio.
• Diagnose issues, provide troubleshooting and product guidance, and determine the appropriate service route.
• Raise engineer jobs; support engineers with troubleshooting/product information; monitor outcomes and coordinate follow-up with the customer.
• Handle quality management cases, engineer service requests and associated purchase orders for products/spare parts.
• Manage spare parts and consumables, including facilitation of the portal.
• Approve parts, repairs, replacements and returns within defined authority; escape complex or sensitive cases through the agreed route.
