Job summary

Red Door Recruitment is seeking a Technical Customer Service Administrator for a well-established client on the outskirts of St Albans. This 12-month fixed-term contract covers maternity leave and provides end-to-end post-installation support across a full product portfolio for B2C and B2B customers.

You will manage technical enquiries, diagnose issues, raise engineer jobs, and coordinate follow-up with customers while handling spare parts and consumables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years customer service and/or administration experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Numerate with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive, with ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Previous experience using SAP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical and service enquiries across the full company portfolio.
• Diagnose issues, provide troubleshooting and product guidance, and determine the appropriate service route.
• Raise engineer jobs; support engineers with troubleshooting/product information; monitor outcomes and coordinate follow-up with the customer.
• Handle quality management cases, engineer service requests and associated purchase orders for products/spare parts.
• Manage spare parts and consumables, including facilitation of the portal.
• Approve parts, repairs, replacements and returns within defined authority.
