Job summary

MyDek Ltd is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to be based at our Stokenchurch office. The role focuses on high-volume outbound calls to potential customers in the construction sector, researching projects and securing meetings with architects, developers and contractors.

You will manage the CRM, coordinate with estimating and operations, and progress opportunities through persistent follow-up.

Qualifications

• High-volume outbound calling required.
• Strong CRM discipline and data upkeep.
• Consultative sales approach to secure meetings.
• Ability to read project requirements and timelines.
• Research projects and identify key contacts.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contacting potential customers via phone.
• Identify contacts and understand requirements and timescales.
• Secure meetings and qualified enquiries with architects and contractors.
• Coordinate with technical, estimating, operations and leadership teams.
• Prepare context, questions and briefs for meetings.
• Manage inbox and email communications.
• Follow up on agreed actions to progress opportunities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings when needed.
