Mission of the job

As Technical Sales Manager for Poultry & Swine in Northern Europe, you’ll provide technical support for the full range of Adisseo solutions used in poultry and swine nutrition. This includes contributing to the technical positioning and development of our solutions on the field, marketing materials leading field evaluations and trials of our solutions and new products and identifying new opportunities to expand the application of our existing solutions. Your role bridges science and customers’ needs, helping to translate innovation into measurable value in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the technical and commercial positioning of products, by translating scientific insights into practical, value-driven messages tailored to the needs of customers and the poultry/swine industry.
  • Identify new business opportunities and being able to share with his colleagues to follow-up the topic with the customer.
  • Design, coordinate, and statistically analyze field and university trials to evaluate specialty and innovative products for monogastric nutrition (poultry and swine).
  • Stay up to date with relevant scientific literature and market trends, sharing key insights with the Product Category Managers/Species Managers and the Business Units Business Managers to align technical direction with business goals.
  • Develop deep expertise in our nutritional additives for monogastric, enabling high-level technical support for both internal sales teams and our customers.
  • Actively participate in customer visits, on-site demonstrations, technical training, professional fairs/events and product presentations, becoming a trusted technical partner to our sales teams and strategic customers.
  • Create technical marketing content and ideas, supporting the expansion of existing markets and identifying new commercial opportunities grounded in science.
Qualifications
Hard Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role in the feed or health industry.
  • Solid knowledge of monogastric nutrition (poultry/swine), including farm management practices.
  • Ability to define, implement and follow a nutrition trial protocol on animals.
  • Confirmed experience in formulation as Formulator / Nutritionist / Technical Manager within the animal feed sector.
  • Fluent in English and/or Dutch. Another language knowledge is a plus.
  • Good understanding of business issues and processes.
  • Open to travel at least 50% of the time to be on the field.
  • Comfortable use CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to work independently and be results driven.
  • Comfortable and willingness for teamwork, customer success, and being close to the field.
  • Strong organizational skills.
Education
  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or Agronomy.
  • Master in monogastric nutrition is desirable.
