A leading housing organization is seeking a Technical Advisor to join their Project Management Team in London. The role involves providing technical and administrative support, ensuring efficient project execution, and maintaining compliance with ISO standards. Ideal candidates will have strong IT skills, experience with document management systems, and the ability to support senior stakeholders. Salary: £36,468.00 - £45,586.00 (in exceptional circumstances we would consider a salary of up to 10% above the top of the advertised range)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed term / Secondment until February 2027
We are seeking a Technical Advisor to join our Project Management Team in London. This role combines technical and administrative support, helping to maintain systems, support research, and ensure projects run efficiently. You will work closely with the leadership team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
You will provide fast, hands‑on support for the Viewpoint system, assisting internal teams and external consultants with project setup, tender packs, access issues, and technical queries. The role includes delivering Viewpoint and IDP training, supporting day‑to‑day administration, and working closely with the Information Manager to manage the Information Delivery Plan (IDP) process. You will help ensure compliance with ISO 19650 standards and Building Safety Act requirements while providing ongoing support to consultants.
You will also support regional leaders by organising and minuting confidential management meetings, managing diaries and meeting logistics, and coordinating monthly governance papers. In addition, you will arrange travel and process expenses, ensuring senior stakeholders are fully supported and able to focus on delivering successful projects.
You will have experience working with document management systems and strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and databases. You will bring proven experience in providing high‑quality administrative and technical support to senior stakeholders and maintaining well‑structured systems. The ability to read technical drawings and familiarity with construction‑related documentation would be an advantage but is not essential.
