Technical Administrator
Based: Rural Dartford, DA2
Hours: 8.30-5pm Office Based - Monday - Friday
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are looking for an organised and proactive Technical & SHEQ Administrator to supporting the technical, safety, quality and environmental requirements within this busy Head Office function.
You’ll work closely with engineers, clients, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring technical documentation, compliance requirements and SHEQ processes for projects are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the Technical and SHEQ functions.
- Maintain accurate technical, quality, health & safety and environmental documentation.
- Coordinate compliance records, certificates, reports and technical information.
- Support engineers and project teams with technical documentation and system information.
- Assist with audits, inspections and ongoing compliance requirements.
- Monitor outstanding actions and ensure documentation and corrective actions are completed within required timescales.
- Maintain accurate records within internal systems and databases.
- Support the preparation of reports, KPIs and SHEQ performance information.
- Liaise with engineers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers to obtain and manage required information for projects.
- Work closely with Operations, Projects, Commercial and Finance teams to ensure smooth communication and administration.
- Assist with maintaining and updating company procedures, policies and SHEQ documentation.
- Support the onboarding and administration of new contracts and projects.
About You
- Ideally, experience in a technical administration, SHEQ, H&S, Compliance or Engineering environment, or strong administration skills willing to learn!
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to liaise with engineers, clients and suppliers.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, structured and solutions-focused approach. Experience within construction, engineering or life safety systems would be advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of SHEQ processes, British Standards, Audits, Risk Assessments, RAMS and Compliance Documentation would be beneficial.
