Job summary

CBRE in Reading, UK is recruiting a Workplace Manager to lead day-to-day facilities management and exercise governance over client sites. The role focuses on building strong stakeholder relationships, driving service performance, and delivering continuous improvement across the portfolio.

You will manage on-site teams, coordinate with service partners, and ensure budgeting, project delivery, and HSE compliance are met to uphold CBRE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Workplace and Facilities Management services across the site portfolio.
• Provide leadership to on-site teams and service partners, promoting accountability and high performance.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and act as primary point of contact for operational matters, escalations and service improvements.
• Manage supplier performance, service delivery standards, KPIs, audits and corrective actions.
• Act as the primary contact for local stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues and service requests.
• Drive operational excellence through service reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage site budgets, forecasting and cost control in line with targets.
• Support planning and delivery of workplace projects, moves, changes and refurbishment activities.
• Maintain relationships with landlords, contractors and service partners for effective operations.
• Lead governance, incident management, root cause analysis and business continuity activities.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE requirements and account governance.
• Promote a positive workplace experience through proactive stakeholder engagement.
