Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in London seeks a highly experienced General Manager - Facilities Management. The role oversees in-house facility and amenity management, including Engineering, Conference Services, Concierge and Health and Safety, delivering world-class workplace services for a global client.

The successful candidate will lead a large, diverse team, drive strategic programs, manage budgets, and ensure service excellence across sites, while maintaining strong client relationships

Qualifications

• A minimum of ten (10+) years of experience in a leadership role within hospitality or corporate real estate.
• Excellent leadership abilities and coaching skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality trends and guest expectations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for Workplace Experience teams and programs.
• Direct department heads to enhance employee and colleague satisfaction and drive service delivery.
• Build and lead a cohesive, diverse team focused on continuous operational improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, budgeting, and implementation of corporate plans and policies.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, building codes and CBRE best practices.
• Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships and timely issue resolution.
• Lead meetings with senior executives and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service.
