Pro Staff Recruitment Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to build relationships and grow the customer base within a technology-focused business.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Business Development, developing account relationships, spotting opportunities and progressing toward a Business Development Manager position as you gain experience.

Competenze

• You don’t need to have done this exact job before, but some experience in sales, account management or a customer‑focused role would be useful.
• You’ll need to be comfortable speaking to people, organised and happy to get stuck in.
• A genuine interest in technology would be a bonus, particularly IT hardware or software, but there’s support available to help you learn the products and the market.
• Good IT skills are important, and experience with a CRM system would be helpful.
• You’ll also need a full UK driving licence.

• Building relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturers.
• Keeping in touch with existing accounts and identifying opportunities to grow business.
• Researching potential new opportunities and keeping an eye on market trends.
• Helping prepare proposals and presentations.
• Responding to enquiries and making sure customers receive a good service.
• Keeping customer details and sales opportunities up to date on the CRM system.
• Working with colleagues across sales, marketing, technical and operations.
• Helping track sales activity and report on progress.
