Orion Electrotech - Engineering & Technical is seeking a Business Development Representative to help grow their global technology manufacturing business. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, generating leads and supporting future growth in a rapidly evolving sales function.

You will engage with prospective customers, qualify opportunities and book demonstrations for the field team, while collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless handoffs from lead to engagement.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience within sales development, lead generation, business development or outbound customer engagement.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence speaking with technical and engineering professionals.
• Good IT skills and the ability to learn CRM and ERP systems.
• A proactive, resilient and target-driven approach.

Aufgaben

• Proactively contacting prospective customers through phone, email and professional networking channels.
• Researching new markets, identifying opportunities and engaging net new customers.
• Qualifying leads and booking demonstrations for the field sales team.
• Following up inbound enquiries and supporting lead development activities.
• Working closely with sales colleagues to ensure a smooth transition from lead generation to customer engagement.
