Plumb Centre is hiring a Team Supervisor to support the Branch Manager and lead daily operations in Norwich. The role is office-focused, coordinating calls and emails while assisting customers on the trade counter with product knowledge.

Team Supervisor - Norwich - Plumb Centre

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the Branch Manager/ Branch Supervisor with the day to day running and operations within the branch and take charge when they are not available.
• Supervising and supporting colleagues, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to achieve targets and goals.
• Mainly office based, managing phones and emails servicing customers.
• Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07:00AM - 17:00PM and Saturday on a rota basis 08:00AM - 12:00PM.

What we'd like you to have:

• Health and safety requirements, particularly in first aid, manual handling, fire situations and appropriate mechanical handling. Also knowledge about transport legislation.
• Confidently work with and interpret numerical and written information.
• Knowledge of proactive and advanced sales techniques, merchandising, and ways to maximise margin.
• Understanding of the specific product lines stocked by the branch and Wolseley systems.
• Knowledge about branch administration, audit trail, supply chain and policies.
• IT Systems: use Microsoft packages for creating documents and working with data.
