Job summary

The Rank Group in Burton upon Trent is seeking a part-time Team Member to be the friendly face on the floor, serving great food and keeping the buzz alive from first hello to final game.

You will follow clear standards, support across areas, and elevate issues when needed, bringing a customer-first attitude, pace, and team spirit. Full training is provided; prior hospitality/retail/leisure experience helps but isn’t required.

Qualifications

• Customer-first attitude and excellent people skills.
• Ability to pace and focus in a busy environment and stay organized.
• Team player energy with clear communication and willingness to learn on shift.
• Experience in hospitality/retail/leisure is helpful but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Greet, serve, and support guests to ensure a welcoming visit.
• Keep queues moving, tables clear, and the venue tidy; reset quickly between sessions.
• Assist customers with game information and maintain high energy around the venue.
• Follow health & safety, food hygiene, licensing and safer-gambling procedures; report incidents promptly.
• Collaborate across front of house, floor, Food & Beverage, and cleaning to keep service smooth.
