Job summary

LRL is recruiting Team Leaders/ Deputy Managers across the Midlands for permanent roles in a leading healthcare company. The role provides operational leadership for staff delivering high‑acuity support under 3:1, 4:1 and 5:1 staffing arrangements, ensuring safe implementation of care plans, PBS plans, risk assessments and behavioural management strategies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in complex care and high‑risk behavioural services.
• Experience leading 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 staffing packages.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and allocate staff within enhanced staffing arrangements.
• Maintain risk oversight and ensure appropriate staffing for individual needs.
• Ensure staff understand triggers, escalation protocols and de‑escalation strategies.
• Lead responses to significant behavioural incidents and ensure safe interventions.
• Oversee DoLS compliance and safeguarding practices.
• Coordinate incident reviews and learning actions.
• Support staff supervision, competency assessments and performance management.
• Liaise with manager, clinical team and external professionals.
