Job summary

LRL are recruiting for TEAM LEADERS / DEPUTY MANAGERS across the MIDLANDS to work on a permanent basis for a leading Healthcare Company. The role combines shift leadership with direct care, supervising staff and safeguarding high‑risk individuals.

You will oversee 3:1/4:1/5:1 staffing, ensure care plans and PBS plans are implemented, and manage incidents with a focus on de‑escalation and least restrictive practice.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in complex care, learning disability or high‑risk behavioural services.
• Experience leading 3:1/4:1/5:1 staffing packages.
• Experience managing behaviours that challenge and aggression.
• Advanced de‑escalation and crisis prevention skills.
• Experience leading staff during significant behavioural incidents.
• Knowledge of DoLS, safeguarding and least restrictive practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff during shifts and allocate within enhanced staffing arrangements.
• Ensure safe care plans, PBS plans and risk assessments are followed.
• Supervise staff, conduct briefings and handovers.
• Coordinate responses to aggression, self‑injury and high‑risk behaviour.
• Escalate incidents appropriately and participate in post‑incident reviews.
• Promote safeguarding, dignity and least restrictive practice.
