LRL are recruiting for Team Leaders / Deputy Managers to provide operational leadership for staff delivering high-acuity support to individuals with complex behavioural needs across 3:1, 4:1 and 5:1 staffing arrangements.

You will ensure safe care plans, PBS plans, risk assessments and DoLS compliance while balancing direct care with shift leadership, supervision and quality assurance. Roles may involve significant behavioural management and incident response.

Competenze

• Substantial experience in complex care and high-risk behavioural services.
• Experience leading 3:1, 4:1 or 5:1 packages.
• Experience managing challenging behaviours and physical aggression.
• De-escalation and crisis prevention expertise.
• Experience implementing PBS plans and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of DoLS and safeguarding.
• Strong incident reporting and escalation skills.

Mansioni

• Lead staff during shifts and allocate within enhanced staffing arrangements.
• Maintain oversight of risk and ensure staffing remains appropriate.
• Ensure staff understand triggers and escalation protocols.
• Lead responses during significant behavioural incidents.
• Ensure de-escalation is the primary response and restrictive interventions are used as a last resort.
• Coordinate responses to aggression, violence and high-risk behaviours.
• Conduct shift briefings and handovers.
• Review records and incident reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in post-incident reviews and identify learning or changes needed.
• Support staff supervision and development.
