Job summary

Chef & Brewer is seeking a Team Leader to drive excellence on shift, mainly evenings and weekends, across our country pubs. You will lead by example, support the team, and ensure every customer enjoys a warm welcome and a memorable visit.

Key responsibilities include deputising for management, coordinating a busy shift, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and delivering consistently high service standards. A positive, adaptable team player with strong English skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Must lead by example and deputise for management when needed.
• Strong focus on customer experience and service standards.
• Ability to organise and coordinate a busy team during shifts.
• Maintain bar safety, legality, and cleanliness, with quick issue resolution.
• Attention to detail to ensure quality pours and service.
• Good spoken and written English to follow allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience on every visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve issues in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep the bar safe, legal, and clean, addressing any issues swiftly and safely.
• Set an example for service quality and ensure customers feel welcome.
• Think on your feet and adapt to challenges during busy shifts.
