Job summary

Greene King’s Flaming Grill pub network is hiring a Team Leader to guide a busy shift and keep service on point. You’ll support the management team, organise the team, ensure safety, cleanliness and smooth running of a service period while inspiring the team with great hospitality.

You’ll need sharp attention to detail, a visible leadership example, the ability to think on your feet during peak hours, and a warm, welcoming approach for every guest.

Qualifications

• Eye for detail to ensure quality serves (e.g., perfect pints).
• Lead by example and coach the team to deliver great service.
• Ability to adapt on shift and solve problems quickly.
• Positive, proactive attitude and a true team player.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to perform the role safely and understand allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with a heartfelt and memorable experience each and every time they visit.
• Deputise for the management team and resolve any issues that arise in their absence.
• Help organise and coordinate the team during a busy shift, making sure everything runs like clockwork.
• Make sure the bar is always safe, legal, and clean, and any issues are dealt with quickly and safely.
