Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK) at Belsize Park is seeking a Front of House Team Leader to energise our dining floor, motivate staff, and deliver standout guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee bookings, table service, and service standards, stepping in for the Restaurant Manager when needed and training teammates to build confidence and consistency across shifts.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
• Strong customer service mindset with guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm under pressure and quick on your feet during busy service.
• Attention to detail to manage shifts and restaurant flow.

• Deliver Exceptional Hospitality: Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome, seamless service, and a memorable dining experience.
• Support the Management Team: Take charge in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, keeping things running smoothly and efficiently.
• Keep Things Flowing: Manage bookings, oversee table service, and maintain a great atmosphere throughout busy shifts.
• Training & Development: Help train and develop team members, ensuring they have the skills and confidence to succeed.
• Maintain Standards: Uphold GBK’s high service and cleanliness standards, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and the team.

• Customer Service Passion: A natural people person who loves engaging with guests and making their experience special.
• Leadership Skills: Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
