Lifeways is seeking a Team Leader to work alongside our Registered Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of our supported living services in Glasgow. Experience as Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker holding an NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is advantageous. However, dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with a solid track record and ambition to progress are encouraged to apply. As a Team Leader, you will lead and motivate a team of support workers, ensuring that excellent person-centred care and support are delivered to enable individuals to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your responsibilities include recruiting, developing support workers through staff supervisions, conducting candidate interviews, and providing guidance and expertise. You should possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, supported individuals, and outside professionals. Good written communication and IT skills for record-keeping are also essential.
