Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Offender Health Care Group working at HMP Morton Hall. The role will involve administrative duties for both HMP Morton Hall and Swinderby STHF. The sites are situated next door to each other and within a walkable distance if ever attendance at Swinderby STHF was required.

Responsibilities
  • To work as part of a team providing secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Healthcare team.
  • Do you want to feel rewarded in being able to deliver a bespoke package of care to address and improve health inequalities to individuals with diverse and complex health needs?
  • Input accurate data onto SystmOne ensuring timely and accurate reports are provided for the clinical matrons and Head of Healthcare.
  • Support the clinical team in the organising and facilitation of clinics and diaries, using SystmOne rota, ledgers and assignment to caseloads.
  • Booking and monitoring secondary care outpatient appointments and requests for diagnostic tests.
  • Liaison with sub-contractor services who provide healthcare provision within the detained estate re: waiting lists, ledgers, and template management.
  • Processing of subject access requests in accordance with Data Protection Regulations and the GDPR.
  • Filing, photocopying, scanning and attaching documents into SystmOne.
  • The set up and maintenance of databases.
  • Attend meetings as a minute taker and responsibility for the production of agenda, minutes, action tracker.
  • Use of multiple software packages for example, SystmOne, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020.
Qualifications and Requirements

Both HMPPS and Home Office vetting is required for this post. Applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
