Job summary

Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council (Marston Green Junior School) is seeking a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join a collaborative team. You will support pupils with neurodiverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH, delivering in-class support and targeted interventions within term-time hours.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting children with neurodiverse needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, SEMH).
• Enhanced DBS clearance required for this post.
• Experience in a school-based support role and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-class support and bespoke interventions across curriculum.
• Support pupils with English and Maths; monitor progress and behaviour.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing under the team‑around‑the‑child model.
