Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is seeking a compassionate SEND Support Assistant to join a partner primary school in Solihull. The role is full-time/long-term, starting September 2025, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.

You will work closely with the SENDCo, teachers, and external agencies to tailor individual support that helps pupils thrive. The school prides itself on inclusive ethos, strong leadership, and delivering personalised education.

Qualifications

• Level 2 TA qualification or higher relevant to working with children.
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting.
• Two references covering past two years, ideally education/school-based.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND.
• Implement personalised strategies and interventions as directed by the class teacher and SENDCo.
• Assist with behaviour support and emotional regulation techniques where required.
• Monitor progress and contribute to EHCPs and learning targets.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
