What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting individual students or small groups with learning tasks
- Helping students regulate emotions through positive relationships and predictable routines
- Working closely with teachers to adapt activities and resources
- Encouraging independence, social interaction and emotional resilience
- Supporting outdoor learning, sensory breaks and enrichment sessions
- Providing personal care or physical support where required
- Building strong, trusting relationships with students
- Contributing to a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
GCSE Grade C / 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- A genuine interest in supporting students with SEMH and/or SEN needs
- A calm, caring and proactive approach
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- A full driving licence
- Experience working in an SEMH or specialist education setting with young children.
- Driving licence is required
