We're looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated team and play a key role in helping our students feel safe, supported, confident and ready to learn. This is more than a classroom support role. You'll be a trusted and encouraging presence in our students' daily lives helping them develop academically, socially and emotionally, while celebrating their progress along the way. What You'll Be Doing
- Support students in lessons, helping them engage, participate and achieve
- Build positive, trusting relationships and act as a consistent role model
- Support individual learning programmes and specialist approaches
- Work alongside teachers, therapists and other professionals to meet students' needs
- Observe, record and share information about student progress and development
- Support assessments, target setting, reviews and relevant documentation
- Support students during activities, mealtimes, recreation and educational visits
- Contribute to a positive school culture where every achievement matters

- Kestrel House School is a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School. We help educate and support students who have complex needs and specialise in the communication and learning challenges associated with Autism.
