Broken Cross Primary Academy and Nursery is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing, innovative and dedicated team. The role is Grade 4- 8.30-12.15pm, Monday to Friday, 18.75 hours pro-rata, fixed term until 31 August 2027 with potential for permanency depending on pupil numbers.
The successful applicant will work with the class teacher to support pupils with SEN, including those at the Language Lab, focusing on communication, independence and positive engagement.

We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing, innovative and dedicated, happy team.
The successful applicant will work alongside the class teacher to provide learning and care support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This will involve working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities and supporting pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management.
The successful candidate will work within our resource provision, supporting children with the most complex needs. Our primary area of need within the resource provision is communication and interaction. As part of this provision, our Language Lab provides targeted opportunities to develop pupils’ communication and interaction skills, supporting them to build confidence, develop independence and engage positively with their learning and peers.
