Job summary

Broken Cross Primary Academy and Nursery is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and dedicated team. The role supports learning and care for all pupils, including those with SEN, working alongside the class teacher to plan and deliver activities.

The position is permanent, Grade 4, 32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year (pro-rata), with hours 8.30am-3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The school is part of the Halliard Trust and emphasises safeguarding and professional development.

Qualifications

• Assist with learning and care support for all pupils, including those with SEN.
• Support pupil routines, transitions and behaviour management.

The successful applicant will work alongside the class teacher to provide learning and care support for all pupils and those with special educational needs (SEN). This will involve working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities and supporting pupils with routines, transitions and behaviour management.
