Hanwell Fields Community School in Banbury, England, is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teaching staff and deliver targeted help to pupils. The role emphasizes inclusive practice, behaviour support, and developing confidence and resilience in learners.

As our Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teachers to support teaching and learning, providing targeted help to pupils and assisting staff in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Your role will help ensure all pupils can access learning and develop confidence, independence, and resilience.
Working under the direct guidance and supervision of classroom teachers, you will support individuals and small groups of pupils, helping them to engage with lessons, follow instructions, and build their skills. You will also assist with behaviour management and contribute to maintaining a calm, supportive learning atmosphere.
You will be patient, approachable, and proactive, able to adapt your support to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners. Your input will be vital in helping pupils achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Hours of duty: 32 hours per week - 8:30-15:15 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Tuesdays until 4pm for CPD.
