Job summary

Springside Special School in Milnrow, Rochdale is seeking two temporary Teaching Assistant Level 4+ posts to work with pupils with complex needs across Nursery–Year 6. Successful candidates will join a supportive team across site locations and contribute to personalised learning experiences.

Applicants must have GCSE English and Maths at A*-C or 9-4, a Level 3 TA qualification or TA Apprenticeship, and commitments to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Qualifications

• Must have GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C or 9-4, or an equivalent Level 2 literacy/numeracy or CSE Grade 1 in English/Maths.
• Must possess a relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 qualification or a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
• The role upholds safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Work with pupils with complex educational needs across Nursery to Year 6.
• Deliver personalised learning experiences and support learners to engage in school life.
• Support across Springside sites as required, in collaboration with staff and professionals.
