Job summary

Springside Primary Special School is seeking two Teaching Assistants Level 3+ to support learners with complex educational needs across Nursery to Year 6. The roles are permanent and 32.5 hours per week, term-time, across multiple Springside sites in Rochdale.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C, or GCSE level 9-4, or Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or CSE Grade 1 in English and Maths.
• NQF/QCF/RQF Level 3 qualification OR Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support tailored to individual needs to deliver engaging learning opportunities.
• Promote communication, wellbeing and personal development for learners with complex needs.
• Work across Springside sites as required and support learners to engage with learning and develop independence.
