Job summary

Springside Special School in Milnrow is seeking two Teaching Assistants Level 3+ to support pupils with complex needs across Nursery to Year 6. These permanent posts offer term-time pattern and 32.5 hours per week, with responsibilities across school sites as required.

You'll contribute to engaging learning, promote communication and wellbeing, and work collaboratively with families and professionals to help learners achieve meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess GCSE English and Maths at grade A* - C, or GCSE level 9-4, or GCSE level 9-4 or a level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy or CSE Grade 1 in English and Maths.
• A relevant NQF/QCF/RQF level 3 qualification OR a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with complex additional educational needs across Nursery–Year 6.
• Work across Springside sites as required.
• Provide high-quality support to deliver engaging learning, promote communication, wellbeing and personal development.
