Job summary

Springside Special School is seeking two Temporary Teaching Assistant Level 4+ posts to work with pupils with complex educational needs. The roles require flexible coverage across sites and a commitment to inclusion and personalised learning.

Positions are temporary, term-time plus one week, with a salary £32,079–£35,166 and 37 hours per week. Applicants must have GCSE English and Maths at the required levels and a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C, or GCSE level 9-4, or Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy, or CSE Grade 1 in English and Maths.
• Level 3 qualification OR Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with complex additional educational needs across all phases of the school.
• Deliver personalised learning experiences and support learners to engage in school life and progress.
